My dear fellow human beings. I have a question for you. Who do you go to in your time of need? Where do you go to? Do you take it all in on your own? Do you seek people to help you and understand you? I do, but to me that is not enough. I also seek the one that provides me with my every breath.
The problem is that as I have been reading the Bible for years I come up with questions that are not being answered, just yet. Some will never be answered, not in this world and lifetime. They are mysteries. No matter what or who you follow, nothing is 100% proven true except by your experience and thereafter decision to profess it.
The combination of your physical, emotional, spiritual experiences and rationalization form a belief system.
We all have to make a decision of how we will live our lives. What guidelines to follow? Who will we go to? Where will we run too? We are all faced with this decision. When you choose not to care or not to decide, you have already decided.
After much inner pain and sometimes sadness I come back to the same conclusion. I rather be following Jesus Christ with Whom I have experienced a personal relationship and be wrong in the end than giving Him up (because of those unanswered questions, looking again for something else to fulfill me up on the inside), and be wrong in the end.
The fact is that we need to chose while being alive. I am not just talking about where you will spend eternity, but now. Now that you are alive, you need to choose how you want to direct your life, where you will take it. Remember that tomorrow we will live the consequences of our decisions today.
In my opinion we are like a train that will end it’s route in this world some day, however, while you are riding it, you drive it and steer it.
I encourage you to make sound, conscious decisions about your life. Do not let unanswered questions break your faith or you. It is a reality that we mush face. There are mysteries all around us.
There are many versions of the truth, many perspectives and many views. You can spend your life searching and never choosing. If you have experienced a personal relationship with God, follow it and be patient.
As you seek you will find and as you knock the doors, they will open, maybe not all questions will be answered, but I can assure you that revelations will be given to you where your understanding and wisdom will grow and your horizons will expand.
With much love,
Alicia Yombalakian
