“You can be your very best you when you are your true you”
We have enough practice at being who we are. Yet, in many instances we tend to try to be someone we aren’t in order to meet other people’s expectations of us and be accepted.
We are who we are because we were created with a plan and a purpose (each person has his or her own purpose) to accomplish in this lifetime.
Therefore, trying to be someone you are not is not going to prosper you or anyone else. It will only elongate the time that will take you to get where you are going.
Where are you going? You are on your way to Jeremiah 29:11 ( For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.)
God says that He will prosper you as your soul prospers. This is why I said that you are on your way to Jeremiah 29:11. It is because you are prospering inside and out as you walk your very personal walk which God has planned for you before the world was made.
God made you in a perfect mold and continues to mold you as a potter molds the pottery he is creating. He takes every opportunity to enhance you into you a better you. Regardless of what you are facing. If you work with God you will prosper.
The best way to be molded into your very best you is by having a real relationship with a real God. What do I mean by this? I mean to come to God with every situation and need with your true feelings, your most honest you. Sometimes, you might come to God angry and tell Him how you really feel, sometimes you will come in weakness, in laziness, in whatever feeling you are at the time.
When you are raw honest with yourself and with your Maker, you are more open to receive the answer, the solution or even the correction.
Also, by studying, meditating and acknowledging the new creation you are in Christ, you will find balance and growth.
With much love,
